I sketched this dude on Christmas morning. I don't trust him.

On my way home to Binghamton on the Megabus. NYC is my favorite place to draw people because there are so many, and it's acceptable to stare at any of 'em.  A jovial dude named Big Zig (maybe, really can't read it) signed by his picture when I drew him on the 7 train  (see upper left).

Wava Jollies Death Horse

Modified piece of a styrofoam cup at Java Wallies coffee shop, RIT. This is 2 or three years old. Looks like I used... hmm, scissors, white out, red watercolor, and a needle for stippling.

Muppet self for
A new page shared by myself some of my artist/animator friends. We're doing a Muppet theme right now in honor of the new movie, I guess!

Law of Cubes

Undefined Roles

Everyone is trying to help themselves and help each other, at the bar, in the jungle, at work, in the past and on the playground, but usually we get mixed up.

The Great Reveal

The World's 2nd Most Dangerous Creature

Exhibit A.
The Vicious Susquahanna Squid
I created this rare and terrible beast for Circus Minimus this year. Rotating googily eyes and a chomping mouth, made from nothing but cardbaord scavenged from a local furniture outlet, some cheap tempera paint, and a couple streamers. Fear for your lives!

For some reason whenever my fingers are covered in charcoal, I get this urge to rub my eyes and face a lot.

Short Pump Sketches

I did  a gig in the the mall, painting stuff on people's shoes in a department store. It was kind of like face painting, except instead of a washable cheek, the surface was something they had just dropped forty bucks on, and the result was permanent. Tricky!

While I waited for the thing to start, I drew folks. I love moving targets.
